About Agny
Agny is a pattern-based test prep platform. We extract statistical patterns from years of past exam papers, classify each question across multiple attributes, build a model of how the exam evolves, and then generate predictive mocks calibrated to that pattern signature.
Most test prep mocks are written by faculty interpreting trends — subjective craft. Agny mocks are generated from the trends themselves — algorithmic data analysis. The methodology is the moat.
Our wedge: CAT 2026
We launch with the Common Admission Test (CAT) for IIM admission. Our first cohort gets the free "CAT 2026 Pattern Analysis Report" — 30 pages of data on topic distribution, difficulty evolution, TITA-trend shifts, and conducting-IIM stylistic signatures across CAT 2017–2025.
What we don't do
We are not video-lecture coaching. We do not replace your full-package coaching institute. We are the standalone mocks + AI tutor + analytics that co-exist with whatever else you're doing.
The team
Agny is built by Naveen Shastry — a B2B sales operator and product thinker based in Bengaluru, India, with an AI partner. Solo and AI-native, we ship fast and learn from real users.
Where we go next
After CAT, we expand to GMAT (M4–M6 post-launch), then to global English-test markets — GRE, LSAT, MCAT — in Year 2. The pattern-analysis methodology scales across any structured exam with sufficient historical data.
