Terms of Service
Welcome to Agny. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Agny website (agny.app) and our test preparation services ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Agny. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must provide accurate information at signup
- One account per person; account sharing is not permitted
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Reproduce, distribute, or resell our content (questions, solutions, hints, Pattern Reports) outside personal study use
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our pattern-analysis methodology or AI systems
- Misrepresent your identity or another person's account
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm other users
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
4. Content and intellectual property
The Service, including its predictive mocks, Pattern Reports, AI tutor responses, and all other content we generate, is owned by Agny and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use this content for your personal test preparation only.
Past official exam papers (e.g. CAT papers from IIMs) are reproduced under fair-use provisions of applicable copyright law (e.g. Section 52(1)(h) of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957) for educational purposes. Original copyrights remain with the respective examination bodies.
Content you submit to the Service (e.g. off-DB questions you ask) may be added to our content database after AI-validation. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display it within the Service. You retain ownership of any original work you create.
5. Subscriptions, payments, and pricing
- Free tier: available at no cost with usage limits
- Pro Practice: ₹199 / month
- Pro Power: ₹449 / month
- Per-Mock: ₹49 per mock (single purchase, no subscription)
Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Payment is processed by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (international).
6. Refunds and cancellations
See our Refund Policy for details. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime; refunds are pro-rated within the first 7 days of a billing period.
7. Disclaimers and no guarantees
Agny is a study aid. We do not guarantee any specific test score, percentile, or admission outcome. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agny's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Termination
You may delete your account anytime by emailing hello@agny.app. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. On termination, your access ends; we delete or anonymize your data per our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or a site notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
